Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel's JMAN2 Enterprises, L.L.C. files ...

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel began spring practice Saturday with the rest of the Aggies, but his company JMAN2 Enterprises, L.L.C. was busy Friday filing a second lawsuit to protect his pending trademark ?Johnny Football.?

Filed in the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division, by lawyer J. Bennett White, the suit alleges trademark infringement from Kevin Doolan or CubbyTees.

CubbyTees.com appears to offer ?Johnny Football? and ?Johnny Heisman? T-shirts for $19.95.

Manziel?s company has recently filed suit against another T-shirt seller, who offered shirts reading ?Keep Calm and Johnny Football.?

The latest suit by the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner said the defendant received cease and desist claims from Texas A&M on Nov. 29 and from the plaintiff on Dec. 12.

A&M has said the NCAA has ruled that student-athletes can retain winnings from such lawsuits. Manziel?s efforts to trademark ?Johnny Football? are separate from the university.

This may be a sign of many more suits to come. White did not immediately return a call or email seeking comment.
